Please come on in and browse our site to find out what we're about, and what we can offer in our town.
You can find out about our regular church services and our 'specials' such as Easter, Christmas, Harvest Festival and so on. Find out how we can help you with life's happy events such as marriages and baptisms, and the not so happy ones such as Funerals.
We are temporarily closed. Our Services will resume regularly after Lockdown.
OUR SERVICES ARE COVID-19 SECURE.
We air the church for at least an hour before the Service. We clean the church - especially frequently touched areas - after each Service.
We provide hand sanitiser for your use at the entrance.
On arrival, please record your contact details either by QR Code on the NHS Test and Trace app or our paper record.
Please wear a face covering, unless you are exempt.
Please follow directions for moving around the church. Chairs are socially distanced and we ask that you leave them as placed. During the Service, you may sit with your Support or Christmas Bubble.
Maximum numbers are currently 20 people (plus Rev'd David).
Note that Rev'd David sanitises his hands several times during the Service, especially before 'breaking the bread'.
We're also trying hard to serve the community, especially during this pandemic. Although some of the groups we either run or support are not running at the moment, our Community Cafe, hosted by SWALLOW, is open for takeaways Tuesday through Friday 11am to 3pm. We also host the Somer Valley Foodbank on Wednesdays from 12 midday to 2pm.
We offer a unique service to the Deaf community. Not only do we have a hearing aid loop, but we also have signers who interpret throughout the Services (at BSL Stage 2).
You can find out a bit about who we are behind the scenes, and if you are really desperate for something to read, we can even show you our data protection policy!
Mindful of our Safeguarding responsibilities, please check out our Safeguarding page, with details of what to do and who to contact should you have a concern.
